How do I view my License Key if I have previously registered my purchase from ThemeForest?
My Dashboard contains a link to the page for registering my Purchase Code from ThemeForest. If I enter my Purchase Code, I receive a message saying that my purchase has already been registered (which is true).
Juanfra Aldasoro July 5, 2017 at 6:46 pmHi,
Thanks for writing and thank you for your purchase.
You need to go to your account dashboard, then click on the “Orders” (https://nicethemeswp.com/dashboard/orders/) and there you’ll be able to see a link to the license keys for each order.

Yet when I try to enter this into the Theme License window so we can upgrade the framework, it doesn’t work. Today we get a message: Site is inactive. Previously we had had the message that the key does not match. How do we get this fixed so we can do one click upgrades to the framework?
Juanfra Aldasoro August 31, 2017 at 10:16 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up. You have a button to make it active right there.
Would you please share your site access details with me in a private reply so I can take a look?

JuanJuanfra Aldasoro September 1, 2017 at 6:31 pmThanks for the follow-up and thanks for creating the username. I will only need the site URL in order to check it out.
Thanks again,
Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro September 5, 2017 at 3:06 pmThanks a lot.
Congratulations, your site is looking fantastic 🙂
I see that you are using a child theme. I’ll have to ask you to manually upgrade the parent theme to its latest version as we have fixed a bug on the version you are currently on regarding license activation and child themes. In order to do that, you can download the theme ZIP file and after you uncompress it you can upload the files to your server. Once the new version of the theme is in place, you’ll be able to manage the product registration from the child theme. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience.

Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro September 6, 2017 at 10:36 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Do you have FTP access by any chance? I can guide you on how to do it that way.

JuanJuanfra Aldasoro September 12, 2017 at 2:14 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
I visited your site and saw that you are currently using the version 1.0.1 of Smart, and the current latest version is 1.0.2.2.
Where did you get the zip file from?
Thanks,
Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro September 13, 2017 at 1:42 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up. I’m sorry to hear that, but the license key problem won’t be fixed until you use the latest version of the theme. I checked your site and it is using the version 1.0.1, that’s why I kindly ask you to update to the latest version. That’s the way the problem will be solved.
You need to overwrite the parent theme files, and that would fix the problem. You can do that by connecting via FTP and uploading the wp-content/themes/smart/ folder again. Please let me know how it goes. Please be sure that you get the latest theme version from themeforest. Once you download the files, and once you unzip them, be sure to check the “changelog.txt” and see that the current version is 1.0.2.2
Please if you have any new problem feel free to post a new ticket.
Thank you,
Juan.
