Any chance of there being an update to the theme to add in new Google fonts that aren’t currently supported? We’re using a clunky workaround, but it would be really nice to be able to have them available in the Theme settings rather than have to kludge it.

We’ll be releasing a huge amount of updates to our framework really soon. You won’t be needing to do any type of workaround anymore because they will be updated. In the meantime, if you want you can check the code we’ve shared on this gist: https://gist.github.com/juanfra/db87e817deee2fad6548

Hi Juan,

That’s great to hear! Just one question, we have created numerous customised template files in child themes that rely on the existing section ID’s, classes, etc, especially on the home page. Some of these involve changing the order of some elements on the page or removing some elements completely. Are any of the coming updates likely to cause us issues?

Actually the vast majority of the changes will take place in the framework and not the templates, so in the near future, at least for the upcoming updates you won’t need to change any template in your child theme.
