  • Hello,

    Am trying to fit slider revolution into Smarttheme homepage.

    Questions I have are

    1) Is it possible to integrate slider revolution so it fits like a background image in “row settings”?
    You can see on the published homepage that the background image goes right up to the top, behind the header.

    However, If you look at the private homepage using slider revolution, the image does not go behind the header. And because of the shrinking effect, which i like, there is a white space at the moment.

    Is it possible to change this?
    If not I suppose I can turn off the shrinking effect then the white space on top of the image is not visible.

    2) Can you suggest any quick way to ensure that the text layers aligns to a certain margin?
    I could do this by eye but i wondered if i can quickly determine what the native margin is of the theme and then i can apply same margin to slider revolution text layers.

    Hope I am being clear enough!

    Thank you in advance

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing.

    1) Yes, it is possible. This demo has a slider revolution on top http://demo.nicethemeswp.com/smart/shop-fashion/

    The position is set in order to display the entire slider, if you want to remove that space and set it to the top, you can add the following CSS on that particular page:

    @media (min-width: 1024px)
    #header + #container #content>article>.entry>.page-content>.vc_row:first-child:before {
        height: 0 !important;
    }

    2) Unfortunately, the slider revolution templates are independent of the theme layout, so it’s quite likely that you will have to do that like you’ve been doing until now.

    Best,
    Juan

    Hi there,

    Thank you so much for this!

    Will apply the code.

    I do still have a few other issues with the plugin but I will contact Themepunch directly as it definitely seems on their side.

    Thanks
