Hello!

Whilst the Smart Theme does not have a slider option, I found that the image Gallery has 3 ways to display: Grid, Fade and Slider.

So I chose the slider and have set 4 dummy images (just solid colour blocks) as slider images.

Whilst I can see the < and > buttons on the slider section in the hover state, the slider doe snot move automatically.

Kindly advise how the automatic movement of slider images can be achieved.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for writing, I hope you are doing well.

Smart doesn’t come with a native slider because we weren’t allowed to do that by ThemeForest, but it is actually compatible and it works with Revolution Slider (which is included for free). You can install Revolution Slider by going to “Smart > Install Plugins”. Once you install the plugin and create a slider, you will be able to use those sliders from the page builder.

The modification of the autoslide for the gallery element would require modifying JavaScript files and functions. Would you be comfortable with doing that?

Thanks much for your response.

I have installed the Revolution slider. But I am not able to activate it.

Please advise how I can activate it.

I have accessed the support info from Theme Punch but it is most unhelpful.

Kindly activate the slider for me, or advise how I can do this myself.

Hello Peter,

Thanks for the follow-up.

If you go to “Smart > Install Plugins” in your site dashboard, you’ll be able to install it and activate it directly from that screen. Have you tried that?
