Request ID #33309 In Progress
  • Hi there,

I was wondering how can you choose the format of the thumbnail of a project in Portfolio metro. Square, landscape, portrait….
Also how are the items ordered. I tried to change ‘Order items by’ from oder by ID to oder by date, in portfolio option but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

An other problem I have is how to deactivate the automatic display of the excerpt, when you leave excerpt empty.

    Thank you.
    Cheers

Sorry i made a mistake when posting the request.
It should have been posted in ‘Smart theme’.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Thanks for writing. I hope you are doing well.

No problem, I moved the ticket to Smart.

Are you currently using the visual editor posts element to create the list of portfolio items?

    Best,
    Juan

    Hi Julian,

    Thanks for the answer.
I installed the Portfolio Metro demo. And went on with that. I duplicated one of your portfolio project and created mine from that one.
Inside one portfolio project, I use the visual composer.

    Best,
    Clement

    Hello Clement,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Regarding the portfolio projects, I don’t understand your question. The image that displays is the image that you upload. Do you have a link so I can take a look at your portfolio project?

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi,

    Home

The thumbnails of the portfolio have different sizes (4 sizes i believe). Some are square (big), some square (small), some horizontal (768×389), some vertical (389×768)..

For example, for the project DIP IN, I uploaded a square image for the thumbnail but it is display as a vertical image (389×768).

How can i choose the size that will be displayed for each portfolio item?

    Thank you,
    Best

    Clement

    Hi Clement,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

The metro layout is set by default directly by the order number of each item.

So, the shapes of the different elements would be (for four columns):

    1 Square (big)
    2 Horizontal
    3 Vertical
    4 Square (default)
    5 Horizontal
    6 Square (default)
    7 Square (default)
    8 Horizontal
    9 Square (default)
    10 Square (default)
    11 Square (default)
    12 Square (default)
    13 Vertical
    14 Square (default)
    15 Square (default)
    16 Square (default)

    Best,
    Juan.
