Sidebars and footer are disappearing in mobile, framework will not up date even though site is tied to Envato account
Juanfra Aldasoro August 17, 2017 at 7:15 amHi,
Thanks for writing. I hope you are doing well.
The sidebar is usually hidden on mobile devices because of design purposes. There´s not enough space for the sidebar. The footer should be there if you go down. Do you get to see the footer?
With regards to the framework, do you know what type of permissions does your /wp-content/themes/paeon/engine/ folder has?
You can update everything manually if the problem persists. All you need to do is download the new theme zip and replace the files on your server with the new ones.

Juan.juliebalto August 17, 2017 at 2:23 pmThe sidebars and footer widgets only show up when logged into WordPress
Here is the link to what it looks like being logged in:
https://www.supremeortho.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/logged-in-1.png
and the sidebar on the page is not showing the sidebar that it is supposed tonot being logged in:

Juanfra Aldasoro August 18, 2017 at 9:34 amHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Are you using any plugin for sidebars in particular? I cannot login to your site, because I get this message: https://cloudup.com/cUrJJWPLH3H

Well, I guess then the problem comes from using those plugins. Have you tried deactivating them?

Juan.juliebalto August 30, 2017 at 6:27 pmSince you are saying the sidebars don’t show on mobile it doesn’t really matter anyway.
How about this issue:
when you click on “edit page” you get this:

Thanks for the follow-up.
Is there any way you can send me your site access details in a private reply so I can take a look at your site configuration. That message is not part of the theme so we would need to see your site configuration in order to determine what can be causing it. Regarding the sidebar, I can send you a CSS code in order to make them appear on mobile if you want.

Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro September 8, 2017 at 1:12 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up. And thank you for the access details.
I’ve been reviewing your site and the problems with the sidebars are related to the plugins you are using for custom sidebars, named “Custom Sidebars”. It’s not related to the theme. The theme works well with the included sidebars.
I’d recommend you to contact their support and ask them directly why is that the sidebars are appearing only when you are logged in.

Juan.juliebalto September 12, 2017 at 6:09 pmwere you able to figure this one out?
and then when you click on “edit page” you get this:
https://www.supremeortho.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/click-on-edit-page.pngjuliebalto September 12, 2017 at 6:13 pmI have also deactivated “Custom Sidebars”, emptied the cache and the sidebars and main footer that come with your theme still do not show-up unless I am logged into WordPress.
Juanfra Aldasoro September 12, 2017 at 9:53 pmHello Julie,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Regarding the problem with editing pages, it seems that some of the plugins you are using (most likely one for forms) are changing the “Edit Link” in the admin bar. If you go to “Dashboard > Pages” and click the link over there works as it should. I’m not sure which one of the plugins is causing this and I cannot try deactivating them on a live site.
With regards to the widgets, it might be caused by the other widgets plugin you are using “Widgets on page”.
Best,
Juan.
