Hello guys,
I got the sampe problem as “ashforddavis” in his topic.
The main page navigation completely disappeared and also the images of the staff members disappeared.
Also no upgrades, no new plugins, no setting changes were made.As you proposed, I called my hosting company and the only change made, was the deactivation of PHP 5.2 . But I’ve used PHP 5.6 before so I don’t think that’s the reason.
Do you have any other ideas? Or a workaround?
My workaround was throughing the slider out of the header but I’m not so happy with that. (Don’t be confused the /start-neu/ is my original home site but i changed it due to the problems)Juanfra Aldasoro June 22, 2015 at 2:28 pmHi,

this one: http://nicethemeswp.com/forums/topic/main-page-layout-errors/Juanfra Aldasoro June 22, 2015 at 11:24 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow up.
Have you asked them what we suggested on that thread about the apache users?
Best,
Juan.IceTigers June 23, 2015 at 1:45 pmHi Juan,
as suggested I asked them if any updates on the server or changes to apache rules were made. They replied that the only change made was the deactivation of PHP 5.2.Regards
MoritzJuanfra Aldasoro June 23, 2015 at 2:47 pmHi Moritz,
Thanks for the follow up. I understand, but they didn’t answer about the apache users.
This problem might be caused by a permission conflict, given the ownership of the folder in apache.
The owner of the folder has to be the web user. Another option would be trying to force the images folder to 777 permissions.

Juan.IceTigers June 26, 2015 at 12:05 pmHi Juan,
Which folder do you mean when you speak about the permission conflict? The folder of my complete hosting package on the server of the hosting company? And do you speak of the upload folders where the slider and staff images are located? I set the 10/2014 folder to 777 but unfortunally the images still don’t show up.

Juanfra Aldasoro June 26, 2015 at 2:27 pmHi Moritz,
Thanks for the follow up.
I mean the folder containing the images. Would you please send us your access details and a reference to this topic to support@nicethemeswp.com?
Everything indicates that it is related to an apache user problem.
Thank you,

you were right it’s a server problem of the hoster. I tried it on my other webspace of a different company and there it worked. Thank you so much for your help and your time!!Moritz
