After upgrading to 1.1.6, the “About Us” page now has a “Leave a comment” section at the bottom. I don’t want users to be able to leave comments here. Is there a way to remove this in the new template version?

Hello there,

In 1.1.6 we’ve removed the general option for enabling/disabling pages on comments as it’s naturally a WordPress feature and we considered it was redundant.

You can enable/disable comments while editing/creating the page. On the right top part of the screen, you’ll see a button named “Screen Options”, when you click on that, a menu will be toggled. Be sure that “Discussion” is checked. Then, a new box will appear below the “Description” field, where you’ll be able to enable/disable comments for that specific page.
