Hi,
Thanks for the follow-up. I hope you are doing well.
You now have the header sticky, which means that it’ll stay on top when the user scrolls down. At the same time, you have checked the “Auto hide” option, and with that, you will get the auto-hide functionality, which means that the header will hide when the natural behavior indicates that the header is not needed. For example, when the user starts scrolling down the header will hide and then by scrolling a bit up, the functionality will make the header appear because it interprets that they want to go up to see the header. You can uncheck the “Autohide” option and see if it fits your needs. You can find that option in “Theme Options > Header > Animation > Auto-hide Header“.

JuanSmokingone September 22, 2017 at 6:51 pmHello,
1) I think this site illustrates it best – design is very similar actually.
Please pay attention to the header and the transition from transparent, to white when you scroll from top of page down.
And also when you scroll back to top and the white header disappears.
The transition is a lot smoother than on my site. I want the transition to be smoother.
I don’t find any settings in theme settings to modify this – it needs custom code? Please advise
2) As an alternative, how do i keep the header permanently white, even when scrolled to the top?
3) On mobile, the header is permanently white, it doesnt change colour – but it is not sticky. How do i make the header sticky on mobile? so it is visible even when you scroll down?
Thanks
Smokingone September 23, 2017 at 8:30 am4) Just to add to my previous post – I thought some more and the behaviour i would prefer on mobile view is to auto-hide the header, but on desktop not have auto-hide.
Hope I am making sense 😉
Juanfra Aldasoro September 24, 2017 at 2:44 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
1) It’s just the same effect. It’s a transparent header that gets the color once the page it’s scrolled. What you currently want to change there is the amount of time it takes the header to turn white?
2) If you want to keep it white, you don’t have to set the header as transparent.
3 & 4) Unfortunately, we don’t have that options yet. We are working to include something similar for the upcoming updates.

Juan.Smokingone September 25, 2017 at 5:43 pmHi there,
1) Yes – how can i change this timing?
2) Where can i find this setting? How do i get solid white header on homepage?
3&4) Ok no problem not urgent.
Thanks
Smokingone September 29, 2017 at 3:16 pmHi there,
would be great to have a suggestion on the transparent header on home page – we actually like it for the chosen image, but for some images, the transparency is problematic and clashes with the logo colour, so then we really want the option to have solid white header. If you could tell me where to turn off transparency even with code it would be appreciated.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Juanfra Aldasoro September 30, 2017 at 2:38 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
1) Unfortunately that cannot be changed at this moment, because it’s a CSS class switch.
2) When you edit the page, you will find the “Smart Settings” below the content editor/builder. Then, for the header settings, you will see the “Transparent Header” setting. You can change it directly from there.
Have a nice weekend!
Juan.Smokingone October 1, 2017 at 12:43 pmHey,
thanks for feeding back .. still cant find it – on my installation with 1.0.2.4, the option for transparent header is unchecked in Smart settings, yet on homepage i still have transparent header.
Can you turn this off for me please and show me how to do it?Thanks

Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro October 2, 2017 at 1:48 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
That’s strange! I’m also happy it’s closed too. Sure, I’ll erase it straightaway.
Have a nice day,
Juan.
