Request ID #3142 In Progress
  • I need to make a new menu page based on a single menu category, in this case, Catering. I do not want any of these items to appear in the primary menu display. Is this possible or will I need to find another solution? I thought that the menu could be broken apart.

    Hello Scott,

Thanks for writing. You should ideally use two different “Parent Menus”. The problem with your site is that you’re using the menu template as your home page.

A solution to exclude the Catering category from the home page, would be modifying the menu template query, when it asks for the different categories.

The menu can be broken apart, by using the menu category template. The problem, is that, the menu template use all the categories, and you’re using the menu template.

    Best,
    Juan.
