Hi,

I installed the Portfolio metro demo, and put my portfolio content on my website. But now I’d like to use the portfolio designer.
I’ve tried to change Grid Style in Smart option (home template, portfolio project), but it doesn’t do anything.

What’s the best way to move to portfolio designer layout without breaking anything.

Thanks for writing. The main difference between portfolio metro and designer is how it is configured the visual builder “Posts” element for the home page.

The best way would be checking the differences between the configurations.

I’d recommend you to take a look at how it is configured for portfolio designer just by importing it in a local site, and then apply the changes in the configuration for your site. The main difference is the grid type selection.
