  • I noticed with the recent update that the blog sidebar (recent posts, categories, tags, etc.) has disappeared from the blog pages. Let me know if you can reproduce this. Thanks!

    Hi,

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.

You mean with the recent WordPress update?

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce this issue. This might be related to WordPress directly.

    Best,
    Juan.

It was either the wordpress update or the Paeon theme/framework update.

If you go to the website I submitted with the ticket and then click on “Blog” in the nav menu, you’ll see what I’m talking about. The blog titles are all shown, but there’s nothing on the right hand side of the page where the posts by month, categories, etc. used to be.

    Hi,

Thank you for the follow up.

Unfortunately I guess it is WordPress related. When I visit your admin section, over “Appearance > Widgets” I can see that there are no widgets configured for the primary sidebar (the one used for blog and posts).

I think the fastest solution would be configuring the Widgets for that sidebar again.

Paeon have never changed the sidebar/widgets structure nor the framework so there’s no logical reason to tie the theme updates with this incident. You can check the theme changelog here.

    Best,
    Juan.
