Hello,
I am using Paeon theme.

I have created a new page and selected the template Gallery. However, I am not sure how to add images to the gallery.

Also, I would like to know whether it’s possible to insert a link to the images (so when visitors click on the images they go to a different page with text).

Hi Monica,

Thanks for writing. You have to options, the first one and simpler, is to use the WordPress gallery functionality. To achieve this:

1. Create a page and use the Gallery Template: http://nicethemeswp.com/article/using-page-templates/
2. When creating/editing that page, use the WordPress gallery functionality > http://codex.wordpress.org/The_WordPress_Gallery

The second one:

1. Create a page and use the Gallery Template: http://nicethemeswp.com/article/using-page-templates/
2. Upload the images that you want to that certain page.

The problem with this last choice is that it will be difficult to remove images for that gallery, or set an order for them. I’d go with the first option.

Unfortunately the gallery template doesn’t give you the change to links. They use a script in order to have a js gallery.
