Looking to add different content to the home page other than what is available in the home options panel.

Hi,

Thanks for writing. Unfortunately the home page template is prepared to display only a structure with the different contents that you select on the theme options.

In order to display contents from the page description you’ll need to edit the file template-home.php and add the function the_content() wherever you want to display the content.
