Header & Slider Disappeared After Move

My Header and Slider disappears once the site loads after moving the site to a localhost for testing. Everything else seems to be working and the files paths/names have been updated. Thoughts?

Juan.searchandbefound October 7, 2015 at 5:32 pmHi, Yes still having a little trouble. The issue is that it’s disappearing when I move the site to my local machine for editing. The header, slider and featured images all have disappeared after reconnecting the database to my files. I want to figure this out to to make sure I’m ready to move it over to the live server from where it currently sits.
I followed the WordPress steps here under Moving Directories on a New Server and everything is displaying except the Header, Slider and Featured Images.

Thank you for the follow up. Unfortunately I can´t look at your local site. But if the header and slider is not showing in the home page might be related to a couple things:
1) The images are not in place (perhaps due to the move, they ended up being in another place).
2) The Featured image wasn’t correctly set in the migration. You can try and “re-save” the featured image for each slide.
3) You are using other plugins there that are causing a JavaScript conflict with the scripts for the slider.Please be sure to review these things.
