Stage Height Specifications

How can I specify the height of the stage? I tried several images with different heights, but there was no difference. It filled always the viewport. In the PAEON-Theme demo, the height of the stage is perfect (you can see the telephone number below).
How can I do this? What do i have to do?Thanks a lot

Thanks for writing and hoping that you are doing well.
By stage I assume you mean the slider images.
When using images for the slider, these should be larger in dimensions than 2560×1000 pixels in order for WordPress to resize it and having that as the demo site.

But now, I have an other question.If I want to embed a video from youtube in one of the slides. Is it possible to have the same effect? When I use the dimensions like for images, it does´t work.

Thanks for the follow up.
Unfortunately the video slides maintain the aspect ratio of the video, and that cannot be changed.
