  • Good afternoon, My slider does not display properly as it doesn’t stretch across the screen and it has an ugly scroll bar at the bottom. the footer social media images sometimes disappears and only leave the boxes without the social media logo. My web host states that this is a theme issue and right now it is making my site look really ugly in front of thousands of New Zealanders.

    Hello Russell,

    Thank you for writing.

Are you using slider revolution for this slider? Did this happen after updating to a certain version or it suddenly happened?

    Best,
    Juan.

This suddenly happened, I had to start the website from scratch so I reinstalled the theme. Every-time I create a new page I try to place a slider on it and it doesn’t go full width. This has been determined as a theme issue. yes it is Revolution slider.

Basically I had migrated to another server so Instead of transferring the files over, I started from scratch with installing word press and the updated smart theme. I have been having issues with this theme ever since.

    Hello,

I’ve visited your site admin and checked that you are not using the Revolution Slider element in the builder, and instead you are using a shortcode.

Also, the row where the slider was placed wasn’t configured to display to be stretch.

There was no bug, it was not well configured. I edited the page you linked and it is now working well.

I also had the chance to check your Jetpack stats and I’m not sure if that’s working fine or if it’s well configured.

    Best,
    Juan.

Hi, thank you, this is now working. I just need to know how to hide the scroll bars at the bottom of the slider and in the side of the page.

    As for Jetpack:
I dont have the jet pack plugin installed yet…..

    Hi Russell,

The horizontal scroll bar is because some of the content you (or a plugin you may be using) have added to the page is exceeding the normal width.

Yes, Jetpack is active and counting the number of visits you have with their site stats module.

    Best,
    Juan.

    how do I correct this?

Not to worry, I have figured this out and it looks GREAT!!!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

I’m happy you have figured out.

    Have a nice day,
    Juan.
