Add Meta description

    Hi guys,

    the themes i used before Smart had integrated a modul where i could add the meta desription for a page or the whole page. Is there a possibility to add a sentence without using a SEO-Plugin? And if yes – how and where?

    Hi Rebecca,

    I hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing.

    Unfortunately, giving the possibility of modifying the meta description is considered plugin territory and we are not allowed to include that functionality on the theme.

    I’d recommend you to use a plugin for that. It’d be the easiest way to include it. Here’s an article with recommendations and a quick SEO guide: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wordpress-seo/#seoplugin
