I have switched my site from the test server to the main server, Unable to update as it’s not registering my license, I have already unlinked the old one and tried to put in the new one to pair, I’m unable to scroll to google chrome, Please help, Ill be in lot of trouble if it doesn’t work, using a temporary plugin to solve the scroll.
Juanfra Aldasoro November 13, 2017 at 1:47 amHi,
Thanks for writing. I hope you are doing well.
The license can be activated on one site only (It has some domain exceptions, like localhost for example). So, please try to check and deactivate the license on your development server and use it on your production server. You can go and manage your active sites on your Dashboard > Orders > View Licenses > Manage Sites https://nicethemeswp.com/dashboard/orders/
Regarding the scroll issue, please be sure to update to the latest version of the theme. The problem has to do with Chrome changing the way their browser interprets some things on version 61 and that was causing some strange behavior in the scrolling. We released a version of Smart on the 20th of September to fix this. You can find more information on the changelog. http://updates.nicethemeswp.com/themes/smart/changelog.txt
The changes were done in the stylesheet, so it is quite likely that once you update you will still have the previous version of the CSS cached in your browser. So, once you update please perform a hard refresh of your site when using chrome.
You can learn more about hard refresh here: https://www.getfilecloud.com/blog/2015/03/tech-tip-how-to-do-hard-refresh-in-browsers/

Juan.Anirudh901 November 13, 2017 at 5:22 pmHi Juan,
I have followed the instructions and have set the license to one site only, It still doesn’t verify the license.
Without that, i cant update it.
Juanfra Aldasoro November 13, 2017 at 6:07 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up.
It seems that you have erased the main Stylesheet WordPress details (the theme name, version, etc). Those values are used by WordPress to check the theme name, the version number, and other different sensitive information. I think the problem with the license checker and the update are related to that. Would you please send me the FTP access details in a private reply so I can take a look?
Have you erased those lines for any particular reason? Have you done any other changes in the theme files?

Juanfra Aldasoro November 15, 2017 at 2:17 pmHi,
Thanks for the follow-up and thank you for sharing your details with me.
I went to your site and I confirmed that the main stylesheet details are missing. That part of the stylesheet is vital for some WordPress functionalities as many of the theme details are directly configured there. You can read more about that here: https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development#Theme_Stylesheet
I’d recommend you that, if you haven’t done any other modification to the theme files, you download the latest version of the theme and upload it directly via FTP. The theme updater isn’t working because that part of the theme was modified.

Juan.Anirudh901 November 15, 2017 at 6:40 pmIm unsure of how to do that without breaking anything, im also concerned if the modifications you made for my previous support about the title menu bar will get undone. could you please help me with this, i pasted the theme details in the main stylesheet, and its still giving the error
Juanfra Aldasoro November 15, 2017 at 11:19 pmHello,
Thanks for the follow-up.
Have you modified anything besides the code we’ve sent you on the other support ticket?

Juan.Juanfra Aldasoro November 16, 2017 at 6:25 pmHi,
I have fixed the changes you have done in order to make the product registration available. I have also updated theme and framework.
Best,
Juan.
