  • Hi:

Great work with Smart, It’s really simple to use and very complete. I was wondering if there is a way to control the number of columns in different displays. Right now I see that jumps to one on mobiles and tablets; but for tablets it’s too wide and doesn’t look good, in my case 2 columns would work great for tablets, and for mobiles 1 is ok. I didn’t find an option, so I’m using CSS; but It woud be great to have that option.

Also, I was wondering if you going to sell a plan of suscription o licenses for designers, because I already bought 2 and I’m planning to use it with other clients, and would be great if there is an option like that.

    Thanks.

    Hi Greg,

Thank you for writing and thank you for your kind words.

Unfortunately, at this moment we don’t have column options to have a different number of columns given the device it is viewed on.

Do you have a link to the page in which you would like to have that?

With regards to the licenses, right now we’re selling Smart on Themeforest so we’re pretty tied to their pricing structure, where we can sell one license per site and they don’t give authors the chance to sell bundled subscriptions. We’ll take this comment into consideration and see if there’s anything we can do on our end.

    Thank you very much,
    Juan

    Hi:

I’m still working on it, but this is where I want it: http://sechurabar.com/sb-ambassadors/

I hope you can do something about the licences.

One more thing: About your demos, they look awesome, and I want to take some parts of them, it would be great if I can check how they work on the page buidder without have to install them.

    Thanks.

    Hi Greg,

    Thanks for the follow-up.

For a layout of three columns, it’s only turning into one for mobile devices. What tablet are you currently using to check the changes?

With regards to the demos. I guess, the only way to check that would be having a local install, where you can import different demos and check how is that the visual builder is used to create the layout. Do you have something different in mind?

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi:

I’m still wating for material for that web, so I didn’t do too much. But the plan is to display 2 columns on tablets and 1 on mobiles.

I didn’t think much about how to show the demos, maybe only a picture would be enough.

    Hi Greg,

    Thank you for the follow-up.

Great, do you think it would be better to write us again once you define that?

With regards to the demos, you mean a screenshot of the configuration?

    Best,
    Juan
