I am trying to use Visual Composer’s Grid Builder and cannot find the corresponding elements to display the post created with it.
There is no Post Grid element in Smart as there is in the basic Visual Composer features. There is a Post element that is specific to SMART, but I do not see that it uses the post design I created in the Grid Builder. I find the Smart builder difficult and the VC builder easier. Has this been blocked by the tailoring of VC done in the Smart theme? See below:This is from the comment section of Envato Market for the Smart Theme:
Yes, Smart comes packed with a tailored version of Visual Composer included.
This means that we have developed our own modules of visual composer and we use it as a visual builder.
Best, JThank you.
Juanfra Aldasoro September 4, 2017 at 6:00 pmHi,
Thanks for writing. I hope you are doing well.
Yes, our tailored version of Visual Composer uses the “Posts” Element, which can be configured in actually hundreds of different ways, not only for posts, but WooCommerce products, portfolio projects and more.
We have created a specific article explaining all the different variations for the Posts element, and it can be found here: https://nicethemeswp.com/article/posts/ – You can pick different types of grids (masonry, metro, etc), number of elements, add filters, and much much more.
Best,
Juan.
