Request ID #33182 In Progress
  • I have an update available for teh Nice Framework to version 2.0.5.3

When invoking the update routine I get an error relating to permissions. Specifiacaly after unpacking the update it says “could not create directory”.

    Hi,

Thanks for writing. I hope you are doing well.

You may need to change your file permissions for the theme folder in your hosting account. Do you know how to do that? You can read this guide where there’s an explanation on how to change the file and folder permissions http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/

    Best,
    Juan.

Thank you for your quick response.
My permissions are correct on those directories.
There must be something else perhaps.

    Thank you!

I also have a problem where the logo always reverts from text based, back to image logo.
    I can’t save the changes.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

Well, if the user you are using cannot create a directory in that folder, then it is a folder permission problem for the apache user.

Please contact your hosting provider in order to ask them how to solve directories permissions for Apache users.

Regarding the text title, I went to your site, logged in and changed that without any problem. Reloaded the options page several times and it never reverted. Please check that you have only one tab open with the theme options.

    Best,
    Juan.

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing your FTP details with us. We’ll be checking this issue and get back to you as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can download and install the latest version of Smart from ThemeForest, which already includes the framework upgrade to 2.0.5.3.

    Best,

    Andrés.
