I recently installed Flatbase in our site in order to give support to our users.
We’ve two types of users, and we would like to give different support to each group.
I tell you what we have in mind so you can confirm me if it’s possible without messing with the code.
-We would like the Flatbase home page with the search bar, two info boxes (users and brands), and some key FAQs (not all of them).
-Then two different knowledge bases, each regarding to a specific type of user.

Yes, there’s a shortcode, [nice_knowledgebase] which you can use on any page.

With regards to the live search, the infoboxes and the FAQ; unfortunately the home page template doesn’t have that flexibility. However you are always free to code your own.
