In the theme options area I have checked “enable” on everything in the knowledgebase options area. Can you give me some direction on what might be the problem?

By saving the options and enabling the reading time and likes should be enough. Would you please try saving the theme options again? Perhaps there’s a JavaScript problem with any other plugin you may be using that is causing conflict while saving the options.
