I have been tweaking the homepage a bit to fit my needs: http://solopine.com/support/ – I moved the search wrapper below the header so I could have the top bar being full width with a dark background and the search wrapper to be all white.

However when i did that it gets a bit buggy when you scroll down the page. The header will expand in height and the search wrapper kind a fades slowly.
Is there a way I can disable this from happening?

Yes, that’s part of the effect that you can check on the demo. It looks good when things are in place, but in your case it makes thinks a bit awkward 🙂

That’s basically made with some JavaScripts.

You’ll need to edit the file /flatbase/includes/js/general.js

You can find the code responsible for this on lines 118 to 133
