How are portfolio items arranged?

My portfolio items order keeps changing on my front page. I’m trying to figure out how they’re ordered so I can control what order they appear on the page. I thought it might be by the publishing time but that doesn’t seem to reliably control it. Is it random or is there something I can do?

Hello There,

Thanks for writing. The portfolio items are ordered by the “Order” field over the “Attributes” box. You can set a number for each portfolio item an then they’ll be ordered by that field.

I’ve been through your site and when refreshing they stayed on the same place. Are you still having trouble?

Great! Should have seen that, whoops. I meant the order was changing as I added items, but this should fix that just fine.
