as I saw on this topic http://nicethemeswp.com/forums/topic/widgets-home-page/, the theme Folly doesn’t have the widget area for default.
can I add it by modifing the code?
If so, how can I manage it?

That’s right, folly doesn’t come with widgetized spaces.

Yes, you can modify the code in order to have widgetized spaces. Thing I don’t encourage unless you’re a developer understanding the basics of WordPress development. Anyway, you can find a good article here:
