I tried importing the xml but it’s only adding duplicate pages.

Main thing I want to change is the homepage: the blog functionality has to be removed from the homepage, I want the page with the Knowledge base and community forums.

ALso dont you have a plugin like motopress or visual composer because this is not the way to edit the website.

Thank you for writing. I hope you are doing well.

By importing the XML file you will be importing the contents of the demo site. You can read more about it here: https://nicethemeswp.com/article/importing-demo-content/

After you are done with the import, you need to do the following:

1. Set up the front page.
2. Set up the widgets for the different widgetized spaces.
3. Configure the navigation menu.
4. Save the theme options. In your site dashboard, go to NiceThemes → Theme Options and hit the Save button.
5. You’re now good to go!

I’ve seen you configured the front page, the navigation menu and the options. But, the thing you are missing is the Widgets. The forums are handled with the plugin bbPress (http://bbpress.org) and the list of forums and topics you see in the front page are the forum widgets configured in the “Pre Footer Areas”.

So, in order to have that like the demo you will need to install and activate bbPress and then configure the bbPress widgets for the pre-footer widget areas.
