I just need to replace “Services” in homepage with a blog post loop, with same layout, possibly choosing posts I’d like to show in homepage.

Is there a way to make it?

Other doubts:

-Side bar with ‘take an appoiment’ form disappears at lower resolutions, is there a way to keep it?

– let’s say I keep ‘services’ in Home as in standard settings, which feature of a blog I would lose. I mean: can I activate comments for example and other things lime that? Other way round: what type of WP objects are services in Paeon? 🙂

The home page template is a page template which display things in a particular way. You can enable or disable which contents to display. In this particular case, for Paeon, there’s no “from the blog” section.

With regards to the sidebar in the home page, it is hidden for mobile devices due a design decision. In order to maintain that you’ll need to customize the theme and its media queries.

I don’t understand your last question. Services is a Custom Post Type, named ‘service’

Finally, regarding the documentation, what it means there is that you can set your home page with a blog view, parsing the different posts, but it doesn’t work if you’re using the Home Page template.
